Established in the year 2015, Emergent Farms, a unit of Emergent DreamWorks (Agri) Infra Developers Private Limited, is a livestock startup, focussed on our farming motto to ‘think Global, act Local’, aspires to catapult India to the world stage of Livestock Development and to achieve excellence in Swine Breeding.
Through our national and international tie-ups with piggery majors, Emergent Farms, uniquely serves the needs of rural piggery smallholder farmers through the implementation of the Nucleus Pig Breeding Pyramid and by supplying them with fast-growing, highly productive and resilient cross breed piglets that are highly disease resistant, prolific breeders, are more productive for their meat as compared to indigenous native breeds and are highly adapted to the Subcontinental conditions.
Through access to our breed, feed, boar semen, vaccines, veterinary care, training, record keeping, handholding support and management, smallholder pig farmers become agripreneur channel partners who operate their own Multiplier and Commercial operations thereby diversifying and doubling their incomes and improving their resilience towards climate change.
